The Idea

Yep! It’s all about you!

I want you to use your creative licence, be you a lay person, interior designer, fashion designer or more, to carry Contemporary Patternism into life and redevelop it your way.

I don’t want to teach or lecture an outcome, but instead hand the creative reins over to you so that you may create freely in your own time.

The Story

Having been through many iterations of my practice over the past 6–7 years—from collage, digital, print, textiles and more—I finally decided that a real end product does not exist, for me at least.

I love the process, but I just don’t like possessing a ton of material outcomes, for myself!

And I don’t think that art belongs in galleries or institutions perpetually. I want to see it living and breathing.

And come to think of it, I don’t really like the system altogether—so I decided to create my own. One where you are at the heart of it.

The Archive

But that’s not all!

I want to create an archive of stories here where you share your story with me, so that together we can create a joyous wall of colour, collaboration and depth!

I truly cannot wait to hear your story and what you come up with.
